83,000 new barcode numbers for Greek products were created during 2022 through the my520.gr platform.
Of the businesses that obtained barcode numbers from 520 Barcode Hellas during the year, 65% were businesses engaged in production and standardization.
Regarding the “geography” of Greek entrepreneurship, the largest share of new companies in 2022, and of the new barcode numbers respectively, came from Attica, with 32%, followed by Macedonia with 21%, Crete with 13%, and the Peloponnese with 9%, while Central Greece and Thessaly each accounted for 6%.
Overall, more than 650,000 barcode numbers are now registered on the my520.gr platform. We remind you that the my520.gr platform is provided free of charge to the subscribers of 520 Barcode Hellas, as part of its initiatives to effectively support and promote Greek businesses, which remain resilient in an unfavorable economic environment.
